Weekly bazaars have been banned in Dwarka after recent blasts. A convenient option available to residents for weekly stocking of fruits & vegetables nearer to their place of residence has been closed at least for now. Police does not allow even vegetable carts to stand at any corner.
I have noticed that there are 4 THADAS ( small kiosk platforms ) next to sector-10 Mother Dairy booth. These are unoccupied for last many years, but are obviously meant to be used as micro retail booths. These are ideal places for local vegetable, fruit outlets.
As all sectors in Dwarka subcity already have or would have respective Mother Dairy booths, these kiosks may be activated to provide local source for fruits, vegetables, bakery items, etc.
DDA is requested to initiate activation process.
