Dwarka subcity has a variety of Sign boards showing directions, giving information and sometimes confusing commuters. Globally, road sign boards give directions in anticipation. For example, sign board just before start of Dwarka flyover gives LEFT, STRAIGHT & RIGHT directions. LEFT would take one to DABRI, STRAIGHT to NH-8 & RIGHT turn under the flyover would take one to PALAM.
Paradoxically, on wide roads of Dwarka, sector marker boards had been installed in the middle of roads announcing END of a sector rather than START of another sector. Photograph shows anomaly very clearly. When commuter is leaving sector-9 & entering sector-10, he/she encounters a sector marker board showing sector-9. Even a Dwarka veteran going to a new sector would get thoroughly confused.
DDA should at least now stop quizzing Dwarka citizens and correct ALL sector markers at the earliest.
